NEW OPPORTUNITIES = NEW HOMES?

Panel discussion of a recent paper by Simon Randall

Wednesday 9 December 2020, Webinar 6.00pm to 7.15pm

Housing comes high on any political agenda: increased provision of homes for first-time buyers, affordable housing for people unable to access the open market, the role of housing associations and encouraging investment in all forms of rented housing.

Simon Randall's paper brims with ideas for reforming the funding and governance of Housing Associations, getting more institutional investment into rented housing through real estate investment trusts (REITs), tweaking the planning system – and much else. Read the paper [PDF]
