About the event
This event will consider some of the challenges presented by advances in AI and more specifically deepfake images and pornography. This is a highly topical issue given the investigation to be undertaken by Ofcom into X's AI chatbot, Grok, and the Government's commitment to implement legislation to prevent the rise in deepfake pornography. The rapid nature of technology advances will mean that legislation and regulation will struggle to keep pace, and it is important that this crime can, in practice, be effectively prevented and prosecuted.
This panel style event will bring together a range of perspectives.
